We are committed to continuously improving the sustainability of Eco-Max products. It's at the core of what we do and an ongoing journey for us. Packaging is one component of that journey and an area where we're always trying to do better, whenever we can.
The power of concentrates
With Eco-Max concentrates, we can fit a lot in a small package, significantly reducing the amount of packaging used. For example, when diluted, a single 1.05 L bottle of Eco-Max Natural Lemon Floor & Surface Cleaner makes over 90 L of floor cleaner.
Behind the scenes, because of the smaller packaging size, we can fit more product on a pallet, reducing potential CO2 emissions from transportation to retailers and distribution centers.
Take-home refills and bulk sizes
For some of our most-consumed products, we give customers options to refill at home or to buy bulk, reducing packaging waste with every bottle purchased. For example, every time you purchase an Eco-Max Hand & Body Soap Refill, you eliminate the need for three hand soap pumps, which are the biggest culprits for waste with this type of product. It adds up!
We now offer retailers several of our most-consumed products in large bulk sizes for in-store refilling, eliminating the need for single-use packaging. If your favourite refill station doesn't offer Eco-Max refills, please ask them to send us a message at email@example.com!
Though we're a small business, we invest in packaging innovations whenever possible to improve the overall sustainability of Eco-Max products.
Our Enviro Bottles are made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic resin, giving new life to discarded plastic. They help us reduce landfill waste and the use of virgin plastic. Today, some of our most popular products are packed in Enviro Bottles.
Sugar Cane+ is our latest packaging innovation. These recycling-friendly bottles are made from sugar cane bioplastic plus post-consumer recycled plastic. They help us reduce CO2 emissions and landfill waste, while reducing the use of, and demand for, fossil-fuel based virgin plastic.
